For the 10th year, YouTube is heading to the desert to give music fans a front row seat to Coachella. The platform will broadcast live and exclusively the two weekends in which this long-awaited festival is celebrated.
In addition, users will be able to live a different experience from those present, since, apart from the live performances, there will be other types of content.
For example, we find personal interviews with the artists and behind-the-scenes clips on YouTube Shorts. There will also be exclusive pre-shows on YouTube Premium. Members of this service will have access to six of these programs distributed throughout the musical event.
In addition, for the first time, the public will be able to buy exclusive merchandise through YouTube Shopping and interact in real time through chat. By pinning the chats, in fact, the virtual viewers will be able to see the program changes in real time.
The first broadcast will be from April 15 to 17 and will be sponsored by Levi’s in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. To access, you just have to enter the official Coachella channel on YouTube from any screen and the YouTube Music app.
Fans will be able to choose between three broadcast options depending on the concert they prefer to see, since there will be several simultaneously. There will also be exclusive interviews with the musicians.
This immersive experience will be repeated on the second weekend with Coachella Curated. To keep abreast of everything that happens, Internet users can subscribe to the channel in question to have detailed information about the schedule of performances. Configuring reminders will help us not to miss a single detail.
Harry Styles, Stromae, Swedish House Mafia, Måneskin, Nathy Peluso and Disclosure are some of the guests at this edition of Coachella.
