20 imposing waterfalls that made us fall in love with their landscapes

Around the world we can find an infinity of special, mysterious and dreamlike places. Varied places that we would all like to visit: rocky, desert, full of water, flowers and thousands of colors. Among all those masterful landscapes that seem taken from a fairy tale are also imposing waterfalls, and some are so beautiful that it is hard to believe they are real.

1. Iguazú Falls

They are known as the most spectacular waterfalls on the planet. They  are located in the protected area of ​​the Iguazú River, in South America, in an area that is between Argentina and Brazil. They have an unmatched amount of vegetation and are made up of 275 waterfalls, of which 80% are found in Argentine territory. Its maximum height is 80 meters. This breathtaking and almost chilling landscape was officially named one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World on February 22, 2012, by the New7Wonder Foundation.

2. Epupa Falls

These admirable falls are  located on the Cunene River, between the border of Angola and Namibia, in Africa. This falls from a height greater than 20 meters, forming a series of varied and amazing waterfalls throughout a kilometer and a half. All a natural spectacle.

3. Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is a group of waterfalls located in southern Canada, right on the edge of the province of Ontario and the state of New York, United States. They are more than 50 meters high and are wide enough (56 kilometers) to impress the human eye.
